HHC (Hexahydrocannabinol) Tincture
HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) is one of the newest cannabinoids to enter the cannabis industry. It is a naturally-occurring cannabinoid found in hemp. Other hemp-derived cannabinoids gaining popularity today include CBN, CBC, and CBG.
HHC effects are reportedly almost similar to delta 9 THC. Hence, if you are looking for a cannabinoid that is more potent than delta 8 THC, this is it. Fortunately, HHC can now be produced in significant quantities to supply the demand in the marketplace.

What is Hexahydrocannabinol?
The cannabis industry has advanced from offering THC and CBD products to offering other alternative cannabinoids. Products containing delta 8 THC, delta 10 THC, CBC, CBN, CBG, THC-O, and many others are now available on the market. Today, HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) is making an appearance.
HHC is a potent cannabinoid that is present in cannabis plants. It is pretty similar to THC. What makes hexahydrocannabinol different is hydrogenation. In short, it is a hydrogenated form of delta 9 THC. The chemical reaction of hydrogen to THC changes its molecular weight and geometry. The result is a more stable compound that is more resistant to heat and has a longer shelf life.
HHC Effects
The molecular structure of HHC and THC are nearly identical to one another and may easily confuse the untrained observer. However, there are a few key differences that make HHC more stable. These differences also modify the psychoactive effects of HHC.
The high produces the same feelings of euphoria and relaxation experienced in the consumption of other psychoactive cannabinoids. The duration of the effects depends on the method of consumption as well. While HHC is slightly less potent than delta 9, it is considerably more potent than delta 8. Hence, if you want a more potent legal high, HHC is a viable substitute for delta 8.
As of the moment, we cannot make definitive statements on the medicinal benefits of HHC. We have to wait for further research into the medicinal properties of HHC and other cannabinoids. Most of the statements we read on the benefits of HHC are based on firsthand user experience and are purely anecdotal.
How is HHC Produced?
There is a massive demand in the market to try out other cannabinoids derived from the hemp plant. However, it takes a lot of hemp plants to produce a significant amount of HHC. Obtaining meaningful amounts of cannabinoids from hemp requires isomerization or hydrogenation.
Producing significant amounts of delta 8 THC and delta 10 THC for commercial use requires the isomerization of hemp-derived CBD. In like manner, HHC can be produced in meaningful quantities using CBD. However, the process is a bit different because it involves a hydrogenation process instead of isomerization. Since HHC cannot be extracted naturally to produce significant quantities, it is converted from CBD instead.
How is Hexahydrocannabinol Legal?
The 2018 Farm Bill makes hemp and all its derivatives legal. Legal hemp plants (Cannabis Sativa) contain less than 0.3% of the psychotropic compound delta 9 THC. When Cannabis Sativa exceeds the 0.3% limit, it is considered marijuana.
Our HHC extract is derived from 100% federally legal hemp. During the manufacturing process of HHC, the hemp extract never exceeds 0.3% delta 9 THC. Like in the case of delta 8 and delta 10, HHC is legal on a federal level as long as it is derived from hemp.
Methods of Consumption
Tinctures are primarily designed for sublingual administration. You use a dropper, fill it with a specific dose of our HHC tincture, and place a few drops under your tongue. Let the tincture sit for at least a minute or two to allow the mucous membranes to absorb the cannabinoids. Ingest whatever is left. We recommend 10-100mg depending upon tolerance and desired effects.
You can add the tincture to your coffee or tea in the morning or add it to your favorite foods. You can use HHC tinctures to make HHC gummies, edibles, and beverages.
It would be best if you didn’t use HHC tinctures or any tinctures for vaping. Please do not put it in an empty vape cart or tank for vaping. MCT oil is not suitable for vaping. For vapes, use the appropriate vape juice products.
Edibles
You can infuse HHC into food, as well. You can make gummies, baked goods, desserts, and other kinds of edibles. Remember that HHC has almost similar effects and potency as delta 9 THC. Base your dosage on your tolerance level of THC.
Tinctures
HHC tinctures can be paired with MCT oil, hemp seed oil, or olive oil to make tinctures. Tinctures can be used for sublingual administration or for making HHC-infused edibles. When administered under the tongue, you can expect to feel the effects in a few minutes. When taken as an edible, wait for at least one to two hours for the effects to manifest.
